I work with indie authors and publishers to help them succeed with catchy covers and well-proofed stories.
With the advent of self-publishing, it is harder than ever to stand out. A potential reader often decides to buy a book by a new (to them) author based on its cover. A professional, clean, eye-catching image and text combination that is easily understood in small thumbnail form is key. In a recent survey by Book Smugglers, 79% of respondents said they do, indeed, "judge a book by its cover."
I specialize in horror, thrillers, music, and true crime but can create any kind of book cover. Great prices and quick turnaround for e-books, audiobooks, and paperbacks.
Covers are what I'm mainly into, but I can refer you to some great interior-pages designers and copy or/and line editors. I also ghostwrite and do light line editing.
— Staci Layne Wilson
One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to hire Staci. She works quickly, is creative beyond measure, and is a top professional. Her ability to comprehend the concept and come back with a killer design is truly extraordinary. I will collaborate with her again.

Staci is talented, versatile, knowledgeable, reliable, and well-connected (never underestimate this trait in Hollywood). She has always exceeded expectations. I only wish I could clone her.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. And let’s face it—the first thing people are going to see is your image. Staci came up with the perfect design for me, and she did it quickly.

Rectangular for Kindle, Kobo, Nook, etc.
Square format for Audible, iTunes, etc.
Same cover design in both formats.
Front, back, and spine made to fit your trim size and page count.
Price per completed screenplay page. (For example, if your novel is turned into a 75-page screenplay, it would cost $1,875 - or for your short story to be turned into a 10-minute screenplay for a short, it would cost $250.
$10 per page. I don't do rewriting or copy editing; I just make suggestions on punctuation (and sometimes wording), and I banish typos.
Each project is unique. Let's discuss!
